The Mirame website, quiz, and paid reading (together, the "Service"), operated by Mirame Australia Pty Ltd (ABN 97 696 515 616), provide general guidance about personal colour and wardrobe selection. This Disclaimer sets out important limits on the Service. It applies in addition to our Terms of Service, Refund Policy, Privacy Policy, AI Use Disclosure, and Methodology Acknowledgement.
Nothing in this Disclaimer excludes, restricts, or modifies any non-excludable guarantee, right, or remedy conferred by the Australian Consumer Law (Schedule 2 of the Competition and Consumer Act 2010 (Cth)) or any other applicable law.
2. Not Medical
The Service is not medical advice. It does not diagnose, treat, prevent, or cure any condition. It is not provided by a registered health practitioner and does not constitute a health service under any Australian health legislation. If you have any concern about your skin, eyes, hair, or general health, consult a qualified medical professional.
3. Not Therapeutic
Colour analysis through Mirame is not psychotherapy, counselling, or any form of mental-health support. If you are experiencing distress about personal appearance, self-image, or wellbeing, we encourage you to speak with a qualified mental-health professional. Support services include Lifeline (13 11 14) and Beyond Blue (1300 22 4636).
4. Not Professional In-Person Colour Analysis
Trained colour analysts working with you in person, using physical drapes under natural light, will have richer information than a remote quiz can capture. Mirame is a convenient, evidence-based starting point — not a substitute for formal professional consultation. For high-stakes decisions (e.g. uniform colour for a business, wedding palette, professional wardrobe overhaul), we recommend complementing Mirame's reading with in-person analysis.
5. Not a Guarantee of Aesthetic Outcome
We do not guarantee any specific aesthetic, social, romantic, commercial, or career outcome from following Mirame's guidance. Personal presentation is influenced by many factors beyond colour — fit, grooming, setting, confidence, individual taste, and context. Your results may vary and are ultimately a matter of personal judgement.
6. Retailer Affiliate Relationships
Mirame participates in retail affiliate programs (including Commission Factory). We may earn a commission when you click a product link and complete a purchase from the retailer. This does not change the price you pay.
Key points:
- Product recommendations are generated by the quiz algorithm based on your responses. Commission rates do not influence which products are recommended or how they are ranked.
- Purchases are made directly with the retailer and are subject to that retailer's terms of sale, returns policy, and privacy policy.
- Mirame is not a party to the transaction between you and a retailer and has no control over product availability, pricing, quality, shipping, or returns.
- Product names, images, prices, and availability are sourced from retailer data feeds and may be inaccurate, incomplete, or out of date. Always verify on the retailer's own website before purchasing.
7. No Endorsement of Retailers or Brands
Inclusion of a retailer or brand in the Mirame retailer matching does not constitute endorsement of that retailer or brand, and exclusion is not criticism. Retailer coverage is driven by the availability of menswear/womenswear product data in our matching graph, not by a value judgement about the retailer.
8. Third-Party Links
The Service may link to third-party websites (retailers, articles, social media). Mirame does not control and is not responsible for the content, privacy practices, or policies of third-party websites. Your access to third-party websites is at your own risk and subject to those websites' own terms.
9. Accuracy and Availability
We take reasonable steps to keep information accurate and the Service available. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or harmful components, or that any specific content will be accurate or complete at all times, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
10. Intellectual Property
The 12-season framework is widely published and in the public domain. Mirame's quiz questions, scoring algorithm, scoring weights, curated palettes, wardrobe role assignments, retailer matching, written content, and design are original works of Mirame Australia Pty Ltd. 11. Jurisdiction
This Disclaimer is governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. It is to be read together with the Terms of Service dispute resolution clause (informal → mediation via the Resolution Institute, Melbourne → court).
